ProWave Laser Hair Removal

ProWave hair removal is a great way to solve the problem of unwanted body hair. The ease and effectiveness of this procedure makes shaving, waxing, and electrolysis basically obsolete. Hair removal can address areas like the bikini line, back, chin, underarms, legs and elsewhere.

Procedure
The ProWave Laser is used to apply a specific type of infrared light to hair follicles in areas that have undesired hair. It can be tailored to provide the best possible results for each patient, and also treats large areas quickly. The legs can be treated in just 15 minutes. Laser hair removal can sting, but we employ a variety of methods that work to ease this discomfort. First of all, by setting the laser up properly, pain is most easily controlled. Second, topical anesthetics or a cooling device may also help to mitigate pain sensations.

Yag Laser hair removal uses a low-energy beam to affect actively growing hair follicles in specified areas. The energy disables the hair follicle and stops its growth. Depending on which (and how many) areas require treatment, the process can take just a few minutes or significantly longer.

Patients of all skin types can benefit from this procedure, but there are special considerations related to persons with darker skin. It is believed that Yag lasers are the safest choice for such skin types.

Recovery and Results
