The IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light, hair removal process has become very popular due to its cheaper and faster procedure compared to laser hair removal and electrolysis. It is a form of therapy over several treatments that can provide the following benefits:
1.) Hair removal to eliminate unwanted hair
2.) Vein therapy for women and men who may be suffering from varicose and spider veins
3.) Improvement for a variety of other skin and cosmetic conditions (including, but not limited to sun damage, wrinkles, stretch marks, and age spots)

Precautions for the first seven days after your IPL Treatment:

1.)Avoid exposing the treated area to hot water.
2.)Keep the area moist and protected with sunscreen.
3.)You should stay out of the sun and avoid ultraviolet light and tanning beds- especially for the first 48 hours to minimize the risk of getting increased pigmentation in the skin.
4.)Avoid any aggressive skin care products such as scrubs, exfoliants, alpha or beta hydroxy acid products.
5.)Avoid excessive heat exposure from sources such as saunas, steam rooms, hot showers or baths, and strenuous exercising for 24 hours. This prevents the risk of blistering.
6.)Keep clothing from rubbing the treated area and avoid other irritation to the area.
7.)Do not get hairspray on the treated area.
8.)Notify the spa should you have any prolonged redness, excessive puffiness, or other unusual side effects.
9.)Specific instructions about cleansing, moisturizing and sunscreen use will be provided to you on the day of your treatment.
